Awao Falls Review

A mesmerizing two-layer waterfall where the journey is as exciting as the destination itself. Awao's two falls, named Falls 1 and Falls 2, cater to different interests and difficulty levels: Falls 1 is more accessible and picturesque, while Falls 2 requires a steep climb and is reserved for more adventurous tourists.

The falls may be reached via two routes - both aboard a habal-habal (motorcycle) or skylab (motorcycle modified to fit eight people): One through the San Jose village in Monkayo and another through the Sta. Josefa town in Agusan del Sur. The former is known to be quicker but steeper and more rugged.
