Dioyo River Cruise Review

This community-based ecotourism attraction is a magical trip from start to finish. The cruise starts with an hour-long boat ride along the Dioyo River, traversing the towns of Baliangao and Sapang Dalaga and out to the beautiful Murciellagos Bay. The highlight of the tour is a trek to the Sapang Dalaga Shrine, which features the famous fifty-five foot statue of Christ the Redeemer created by famous Mindanaoan artist Kublai Milan. The tour also takes participants through mangrove forests, sunset views at Sapang Dalaga, a seafood buffet at Caluya Floating Restaurants, and the bioluminescent plankton which glimmer in Sapang Dalaga's waters at night.
