Description

This inactive volcano is one of Bukidnon's biodiversity hotspots and one of the country's last few rainforests. Located in the ASEAN Heritage Park of Mount Kitanglad it is home to over 600 rare and endemic species like the Philippine Eagle, Philippine Tarsier, and Rafflesia schadenbergiana - the second largest flower in the world. It is located between Malaybalay City and the municipalities of Lantapan, Impasugong, Sumilao, and Libona.
