Description

Surrounded by rich bodies of water such as the Celebes Sea and Sarangani Bay (where it derives its name from), Sarangani is blessed with a thriving aquaculture industry. It also has a vibrant tourism industry because of its vast beachfronts, rolling hills and plains, and cool climate that are conducive for agriculture and extreme adventures such as paragliding. It is also a convergence of cultural diversity, being home to the Blaan, Tboli, Tagakaolo, Kalagan, Manobo, Ubo, and Muslim indigenous groups.
