Suluan Islad is known as the island where its Filipino inhabitants first traded and interacted with Ferdinand Magellan's expedition in 1521. It is a lesser-known tourist destination with pristine beaches.

This 43-hectare protected island is an ecotourism destination managed by The Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation, Inc. (PRRCFI). It has an eco camp that aims to promote awareness on biodiversity protection through immersive educational tours and experiences.
