The historic blood compact between Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol and Miguel Lopez de Legazpi is enshrined in this sculpture by Filipino National Artist and Bohol native, Napoleon Abueva. The blood compact, or Sandugo ("one blood") of March 16, 1562, is considered the first treaty of friendship between the Philippines and Spain. The sculpture overlooks a scenic viewpoint that looks out to the Bohol Sea.

Also known as the People's Mansion, Governor's Mansion is a century-old Capitol building that serves as the official residence of the governor of Bohol.
