La Union's most iconic watch tower is located on a pebble-lined beach in Brgy. Victoria in Luna. The Spanish-era lookout point was declared a cultural treasure in 2014. When a typhoon hit in 1996, the tower was damaged and split down the middle - hence its unique apperance where half of the original coral and lime structure is complemented by modern materials which were added during restoration efforts in 2017.

Bauang's grape farms offer a unique, immersive activity where tourists can pick their own juicy grapes in idyllic vineyards. The rows of grape plants are easily visible from those driving through and near the Bauang arch. The grapes have been grown in Bauang since the 1970s, when the "Philippines' Grape King", Avelino Lomboy, started cultivating grapes and gave cuttings away for propagation within the municipality.
