This spherical, pristine island is surrounded by clear, blue waters that sparkle against its white sands. It is one of Bohol's favorite diving and snorkeling destinations because of its bustling underwater wildlife that host large schools of colorful fish - even resident turtles that are regularly seen near certain points of the beach. The island also has steep coral walls that make it a haven for divers.

The Alicia Panoramic Park offers a view of the cogon (grass) covered Binabaje Hills, which rise to 400 meters above sea level. It is homee to thee Alicia Schist, the oldest rock in Bohol, which is known to date back to the Late Jurassic – Early Cretaceous period.

The park operates on an Eco, Educational, Extreme Adventure Tour (E.A.T. Danao) concept, which was conceptualized to benefit the municipality through sustainable tourism. The park offers caving, zipline, rapelling, and kayaking among other outdoor adventure activities.

These mandmade terraces were built by the natives that inhabited Candijay a long time ago. The terraces are known for their predominantly golden yellow hue, which serve as the town's reminder of the wealth their ancestors sowed for them.
 

Panglao Sea Resort takes you to the best freediving spots in the quieter side of Panglao. This includes the "the wall" - a vertical underwater wall that drops hundreds of feet down, and where you can best get to swim by the sardines in the nearby bay.

Danajon Bank is the Philippines' only double barrier reef - and one of only six in the world. Double barrier reefs are rare geological formations which provide a rich environment for marine life. The reefs are as much a conservation and research area as much as it is a diving hotspot.

Enjoy a quiet walk along the almost 1-kilometer white sand shores of Alona Beach or take a dip in its clear, blue waters. The beach, which is bounded by rocky cliffs and a selection of resorts and amenities, was nicknamed after Filipino actress Alona Alegre, who starred in the 1973 film “Esteban” - partly shot in Alona Beach.

Cabilao Island is home to the only natural lake in the Bohol province: Cabilao Island Lake, or also known as Lake Danao or Lake Danao. It also has white sandy beaches, thrilling dive spots.

The cruise takes visitors through the Abatan River, which hosts a wide range of wildlife such as the rarest mangrove in the Philippines and a large swarms of fireflies which tourists can see during nightfall aboard a kayak or traditional bandong boat.
